When the foot strikes the ground incorrectly, it throws the whole body off balance. During sporting activities or everyday movements, these disturbances take their toll on the tendons and joints. The repetition of these disruptive movements eventually takes its toll on the body, to a greater or lesser extent depending on their frequency and intensity.

The Revelation

The Waruju Project
The company devotes the bulk of its resources to developing a brand, around twenty designs and some forty insoles. Each model is designed, manufactured, reworked and finalised to meet the specific needs of its future customers: sportspeople, people who work on their feet, children and pregnant women.
Making it happen
Presentation of the running insoles at the Run Experience in Paris. The public’s response was immediate, and the trial proved a hit. Switzerland was the first country to begin distribution.

Understanding the solution
What is a comfort insole?
A layer of foam that is flexible enough to provide comfort on contact. It is usually flat, or has a texture that is subtle enough not to interfere with the foot. It does not affect stability and, if it is too flexible, may even compromise it.
What is a shock-absorbing insole?
It is made from materials that have been laboratory-tested for their shock-absorbing properties. This ability is often compromised by the materials used in the shoe. Their viscoelasticity reduces the sensation of the ground, which impairs the responsiveness of the plantar muscles.
What is an orthopaedic insole?
It is made to measure by a qualified practitioner, following a consultation. The cost is high and the level of funding available remains low. This is a healthcare solution, distinct from our product range.
What is a Waruju insole?
Our insoles are designed to balance the foot in the correct position. This increased stability enhances the body’s movement and dynamics. Their flexibility mobilises the joints and activates the plantar muscles. The result is a transformed sensation of support, both during training and in everyday life.
What is the Feet Secur test?
A biomechanical test developed by Emmanuel Contal at the Waruju analysis laboratory. It helps to determine whether a Waruju insole is right for you, or whether your needs are best met by another solution.
Stability before cushioning
For over thirty years, joint protection has relied on cushioning. However, the cushioning provided by a specialised insole is, at best, equivalent to 10 % of that provided by the shoe. Stabilising the foot with a snug fit, whilst maintaining a dynamic that is conducive to physical exertion, requires genuine biomechanical expertise. This is where our expertise lies, backed up by patents.
Made in France
Cutting, gluing, assembly and moulding require 80 % of manual labour. A production line that incorporates human labour rather than an automated assembly line.
